Our History

ERS (Economic Research Services Ltd) was established in 1994 by Managing Director, Keith Burge and two non-executive directors (Tony Pender and George Fox). The company’s first high profile contract was secured the following year: the national evaluation of modern apprenticeships for the then Department for Education and Employment.

More than a thousand contracts later, ERS is proud to have contributed to local and national policy development, helped to secure hundreds of millions of pounds for a variety of projects and organisations, and provided employment opportunities and work experience for hundreds of people.

With a strong client base and a commitment to providing services across the UK, ERS currently has offices in Newcastle upon Tyne and Bristol.
