Safiyyah Karim

Safiyyah is a Senior Consultant at ERS, having joined the company in late 2020 after studying MSc International Development at the University of Bristol. Prior to this, Safiyyah studied Biochemistry at King’s College London. She has gained experience collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data from practical investigations, literature reviews, and online databases. She also gained experience in communicating key information in clear and informative ways.

Safiyyah has worked with vulnerable groups including disadvantaged children, the elderly with physical and mental disabilities, including dementia, and the refugee population in the UK.

At ERS, Safiyyah has provided supportive capacity across regional, national, and international project evaluations and summative assessments, and has experience managing projects for notable clients. She has designed research tools i.e., interview questions, and surveys using Snap Surveys and SurveyMonkey, carried out phone/online consultations and focus groups with delivery teams and beneficiaries, conducted data analysis using NVivo and QDA Miner, created infographics and presentations, and written case studies and reports.
